Upward Basketball and Cheerleading
Every child plays. Every child learns. Every Child Is A Winner.
Upward is an evangelistic sports ministry specifically designed for K5 through sixth
grade boys and girls that promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in every
child. In addition to basketball, Trinity Church offers cheerleading to complete
our Upward ministry. Upward provides opportunities for all believers, no matter
what denomination, to become meaningfully involved in the ministries of Trinity
Church. They will have the opportunity to pray for your program, coach a team, referee
a game, share a devotion, and develop relationships in order to open avenues of
ministry to the people of our community who will participate in our program.
Promoting Character and Self-Esteem in Every Child
Providing an evaluation system that promotes equal teams and opportunities
Establishing a one-hour practice and game each week
Implementing a substitution system for each team, allowing every child equal playing time
Creating the opportunity for every child to learn the skills of playing basketball and cheering
