Dr. Marc Putnam is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Putnam began ministry in the United Methodist Church, serving churches in Eden, Wentworth, and Pinnacle, North Carolina before returning to Greensboro to serve at Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church in 1992. Educational training includes Wheaton College (B.A), Indiana State University (M.A.), Duke University (M.Div), and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (D.Min). He is married to Elaine Stafford Putnam whom he met in the nursery at Trinity Church many years ago. Good times include “hanging out” with their three adult children and five grandchildren. Marc may be occasionally seen running with students from Western Guilford High School where he has coached cross country since 1999.
Liz Doebler, a Rochester, NY, native, is the Director of Music and Worship at Trinity Church, leading the adult choir, brass ensemble, and other small music ensembles. She earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting at UNC-Greensboro, studying with Welborn Young and Carole Ott. She also holds a Master’s in Vocal Performance and a Master’s in Music Education, the latter from Ithaca College. Liz previously taught choir and vocal instruction at High Point University and recently directed the Cantata Singers at UNC School of the Arts. She lives in Jamestown with her husband Geoff, their children Lincoln and Brynn, and their dog Scrappy.

Born in Dalian, China, Mengfei has served as Greensboro Trinity Evangelical
Church organist and pianist since October 2017. A newly joint church member,
Mengfei is passionate about learning liturgical music. Recently completing her
doctoral degree in piano and early keyboard performance in UNCG, Mengfei is doing research on the late 19th - and early 20th -century French keyboard literature.
At spare time, Mengfei enjoys reading, hiking, and solo road trip.
