Dr. Rev. Marc Putnam
Dr. Marc Putnam is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. Dr. Putnam began ministry in the United Methodist Church, serving churches in Eden, Wentworth, and Pinnacle, North Carolina before returning to Greensboro to serve at Trinity Evangelical Covenant Church in 1992. Educational training includes Wheaton College (B.A), Indiana State University (M.A.), Duke University (M.Div), and Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary (D.Min). He is married to Elaine Stafford Putnam whom he met in the nursery at Trinity Church many years ago. Good times include hanging out with their three adult children and five grandchildren.
Dr. Jacob Hahn
After growing up in Ohio, Jacob Hahn moved to North Carolina in 2010. Jacob studied piano at Capital University, Syracuse University, and the Kodály Institute in Hungary before completing his DMA in collaborative piano at UNCG. While not at Trinity Church, Jacob is a PC-12 pilot for Labcorp. Additionally, Jacob enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing chess, and hiking.
Rev. Nathanael Putnam
Nathanael Putnam is a native of Greensboro, NC and grew up in Trinity Church. Before coming to Trinity he served as senior pastor at Kallam Grove Christian Church in Madison, NC. Nathanael received his BA in Greek and Latin from UNC Chapel Hill and his MDiv from NorthPark Theological Seminary in Chicago. Mary Roberts, his wife, is a mental health provider here in Greensboro. They have two children.
Dr. Liz Dobler
Liz Doebler, a Rochester, NY, native, is the Director of Music and Worship at Trinity Church, leading the adult choir, brass ensemble, and other small music ensembles. She earned her Doctorate of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting at UNC-Greensboro, studying with Welborn Young and Carole Ott. She also holds a Master’s in Vocal Performance and a Master’s in Music Education, the latter from Ithaca College. Liz previously taught choir and vocal instruction at High Point University and recently directed the Cantata Singers at UNC School of the Arts. She lives in Jamestown with her husband Geoff and their children, Lincoln and Brynn.
